View attachment 1989296 Been a looong time since I posted anything. Haven’t been out as much as I’d like this past season. But yesterday I had a great little dig session! It’s been 9 or 10 years since I’ve found a Barber half, felt like I’d never get another one. I found this in a farm field where I’ve found 8 silver half dimes and a 1909 Canadian silver half. Happy hunting everyone.

PS the new site is good, but I wish the Tnet app still existed

Nicely done on the Barber Half.

The TNet app exists at least it asked me if I wanted to download it.
And I did.

Congrats on the great half dollar coin. I was lucky enough to find and post one of those on this site last month. Love that photo of the half on top of the Pinpointer.

Congrats on a great looking coin. Hope its not another 10 years before you find your next one. They are kind of a tough coin to find though.
Thanks. I checked and it was July 28 2012 when I found the last Barber half. And I found three of them in 2010. I’m going back to that field today to see if there’s more.

Hey J., any half dollar is a good find.
Nice one too ...minus the scratch.
Sounds like a pretty rich field, with all that silver.
I hear you on the "haven't been out as much" , Me too...or not as in this case.
