It's been a real long time since I can say I found the first of something, but today I did it. I found my piece of platinum. I found it in the water down in south florida after about 4 hours of hunting. It's a platinum tiffany & co men's wedding band. I worked hard for this one, I included a picture of all the tabs from the hunt 20210529_202558.jpg 20210529_193042.jpg Screenshot_20210529-210112_Messages.jpg 20210529_202929.jpg

Great find!! The pull tabs tell the story. If you don't dig the tabs you don't find the rings!!

I found it with my excal so no vdi when I found it, but I just hit it with my v3i. It rings up as a solid 23, and for reference a nickel is 19 on my machine. Do base on this I would say platinum rings up the same as gold

Nothing like platinum! How much does it weigh? When I picked up the only platinum I've found I was like, Whoa! that's heavy! I couldn't believe when I saw the platinum inscription.

Its amazing how heavy it is for its size, this ring isn't all to big but weights 10 grams
