I went to a new site, it was an old school football field that currently is used as a soccer field and neighborhood park. I heard a strange moving tone, clipped from high to low. I dug it, and the gold ring popped out at me! It is 14k. I also found a sterling silver bracelet and ring, and $7 in clad quarters. The gold ring rang up 57 on the VDI. I usually don't dig those strange signals, but you bet I will be from now on!

At one time i had a timeshare I bought in Hawaii, actually i got it for my mate as i was working on the North slope of Ak.. I wanted her to go whenever she wanted as the winters are long and cold..I really liked hunting there and i met a fellow detectorist that lived on one of the islands.. I invited him to come to our Resort and have dinner with us. Very nice person and later on i hunted with him a lot during the years i went to Hawaii ... He met us and he looked like a jewelry store lol, he had many bracelets on both arms.. In his safe at his home,
he does have a store, the Rings etc he has found would choke you looking at them.. i saw box after box with rows of rings in them... Surf PI, he wore two of them out..Fun to hunt with and the most interesting info he said was to walk out in the water until your fists got wet, then start hunting....Friend I hope you are still banging them in...

Thank you! I learned a lot from this site, which helped. Plus, I listened to my machine...I am waiting for snow to melt so I can get back out there!
