Picked up a box (brinks) of pennies the other day. Just started opening them tonight and to my surprise, wheats falling out of the rolls!
12 rolls opened so far and I have found 38 wheats.
The most in a roll has been 6 and the least has been two. The earliest being a 1919.
Will post totals later ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1424829007.413753.jpg

I've had 2 boxes over the years similar, but not THAT good. I'll say 120 total.

I recently had a similar box but not as many enders. I ended up over 70. I will guess 165. Good luck!

Total of 191 wheats. Earliest was the 1919. 90% were from 40's and 50's.

I searched for pennies for a long time and amassed about $25 face in wheaties. Really dont know what I am going to ever do with them. What do you all plan for your wheats someday? Just keeping them? Will they gain significant value? HH!

They to tend to ad up over time. Tanner and I sold our 1940's and 1950's (plain and "D") on Craigs list. We sold them for $30 for $10 of wheats. Not much of a profit but I do not see the value of common wheats exploding in the near future. We have also sold Canadian young and old queens for the same price. We sold a roll of 50 Canadian King Georges for $5.

I met the buyers at Mc Donalds.

Keep on Searching

Check for varieties and errors. Most coin shops will pay 3X face.
