Haven't had much to show lately, got off to a rocky start this year. Anyway today broke my dry spell with a couple silvers.
First is an 1872 Newfoundland 20 cent piece, and the second is now my oldest coin, a 1745 half reale.
There were other brass and silver doo-dads, but these were the two coins worth showing.

That is great, two hard to find silvers in one day! I have found plenty on Canadian silvers from that era but never a 20 cent

Wow perfect thing. Collecting antiques is my hobby too. I collect it and posted pics of my coins in twitter. Its quite fun hobby.
