I was at a stone foundation in the park woods at sunrise this morning. A couple wheats, a tag, plus a bunch of clad. Decided to head over to where the barn once stood. Lots of trashy modern overload signals, then I got over a solid 39/39 on the Nox. But it was small and tight and shallow. I would have passed on this signal 10 out of 10 times except I had never had a small tight 39, almost always pie pan or big chunk of flashing signals you still get swinging 18” over the ground. So I took a shallow scoop and out pops a silvery disk. Instantly think aluminum slug, trash. Knock a clod of dirt off and see the rays of the Peace dollar!!! My first silver dollar in 7 years of swinging the coil. Huge bucket lister for me.

Also found a Merc and a couple IHPs, plus a bunch of wheats. Found my 5th Green Cab Chain Check tag, still not sure what these are and a 1962 Girls swim license was cool.

Fun finding a kids spur and a bit of Pittsburgh beauty cream.

Thx!!!!!!!
