How has everyone's luck been with finding gold rings with their Etrac? When I used by 705, gold was no problem, and that thing was a silver magnet! Ever since switching to the Etrac, my gold find went to zero.

I have to laugh at all of the posts that I've seen over the years that guys are finding rings ID'ed as a 6. I've dug tons of 6's only to find that every time its foil. I just recently opened up my 46-47-48-49 in the top right corner of my discrimination. I see some guys opening that up and it's not been open on the stock program.

Take some Gold rings you have and test them with your E-TRAC. Agree with cudamark, they are out there. Most of the Gold rings I've found ring up like the old style pulltabs, usually around 10-25 through 14-25...
