So much like coins we find on our goldfields. Other places like home sites and now gone town sites are ok and can look great or damaged. But on our actual goldfields with so much mineralisation it just destroys coins leaving most, the coppers especially, unrecognisable. Hate it doing that here. Many relics too succumb to that degradation here on our goldfields due to the minerals in the ground. Found lots of what would have been great Tokens worth good money, so degraded they were worthless. 😒
