Where did all the finds in Arkansas go? Come on guys start posting them.

Do you mean pictures of finds found in AR?

If so, I generally post in the main forum, but I can start trying to fill this one up.

Either or pointman. I haven't been on since the new app came along and I guess all the stuff from say a year ago is gone? I was really hoping to dig through all those old threads;(

I use a laptop to access and there are a bunch of listings showing some finds that go back to 2007. They are not in the "Finds" section, but just posted to the AR forum in general. Kind of a catch all. Some of the pictures date way back and I know the folks who posted them.

In general, it is a little sad that we don't get more action in the AR forum. I know a lot of detectorist in AR, but most don't post. Perhaps we are just scrambling around and working our tails off trying to find places like up northeast that we don't have the time or energy. You go to the main forums and looks like more than half the folks are in the New England states. Cool, but gets me a little anxious down here. This is really the only website that I post to. I just don't "feel it" on the other sites.

I feel ya pointman. We don't have what the guys up north have as far as super old stuff but we occasionally find some really nice CW war relics and Indian artifacts. I'm getting really anxious to get out and find some more bluffs to look around in. My uncle has a few that has produced well over the years on his property but I haven't been out there this year or anywhere else looking for artifacts. It's been relatively mild weather lately so I may go out before it gets miserable.

I am feeling the same way. I have to get a good hunt in to finish the year. Few more silver will be welcomed.

I have stumbled onto some CW areas, but nothing large. Couple of use have mentioned going to Jenkins Ferry on some private land. Usually the best we can get down here is some areas that have 1900s silver and maybe find a few 1890s coins.

Sadly, I haven't done much detecting this fall/winter. Trying to make up for that now.

My dad and I went detecting in some fields my relatives own, he found a 1890 Indian Head. His first Indian and oldest coin, so that was fun. Today I found some sort of flat button.

Pointman, next time we go back to those fields I'll invite you out with us, it has been too long. I need to work on some new locations.

Gosh guys if you ever go back out let me know I would love to go on some excursions. Nice finds. I can't remember how long it's been since last time I found a IH cent. Does that button have any writing on the back?

Almost looks like a two-piece button or had that press in back with shank.

I've been wondering how you been doing. I've not found an IH in a long time.

I've not been on any really great places this year. I did find some CW buttons and a seated dime on this field southeast of Little Rock, but the landowner doesn't plow the ground. He just plants back up on the rows from year to year, but I think there is a ton of stuff in the ground there. Keep in touch.

Dang that sounds like a real nice place to go. It's hard to find coins around here just a lot of CW relics.
