Nice find. I'm not trying to jump on your thread but after reading the comments about your find that these are not as common as I would have believed. I've only been metal detecting two months and found the exact same coin about two weeks ago but didn't post it, thinking it was an every day occurrence that these came up. Congratulations again! It made the sweetest sound when the coil went over it. How deep did you find yours? Mine was at the base of an oak tree about 2 inches down

it was about 4 to 6 inches down keep coming up as 11-47 at first thought it was a older beer can
