Detector(s) used
Garrett Ace 250
I am new to the world of metal detecting. I ordered a Garrett Ace 250 from Ebay and if finally arrived today. By the time I got it together and got outside I only had about an hour of daylight left. I went out to some property adjacent to our county fairgrounds and started looking. I haven't even taken the time to read the manuel or watch the DVD yet.

I found a 1944 wheat penny, a 1964 penny, a childs ring and a small copper bracelet. I suspect the ring and the bracelet were given out as prizes by the carneys. They were both about 6 inches deep. I'm looking forward to getting out and seeing what's out there.
