First hunt in my new stomping grounds. Not much but it's a start. Almost found a whole pair of overalls. Haha! Some modern change, bullets & shells, rusty junk, some pottery/crockery pieces, and a few pieces of what appear to be worked Native American material (any insight on these would be appreciated, I have no clue what to look for). Also, one wheat cent. Maybe silver will come next time. Happy hunting everyone.

You did good :)
Thank you. I had limited time and I spent more time than anticipated just taking in the scenery. Good day regardless of the finds in my book. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Looks like a fun spot to hunt, congrats!
Your stone pieces definitely look like reduction chips from native American knapping, keep looking there!
Thank you! Glad to know I am on the right track for the Native American artifacts. I recently moved to this area and it's a whole new ball game for me. Lots to learn.

JSmith, Congrat's on your first outing in your new stomping ground. As said, you Did Good! Congrat's. This will be a prelude of things to come. That milky white quartz you found is the same as we have here in Georgia. I have found some worked pieces here at our house. Continued Success to you.

Thank you. Hopefully I can find some fully intact points. Wishing you continued success as well! Happy hunting.
