First hunt with the new Vaquero "Silver and Gold"

After agonizing for weeks (you know how it is) I finallydecided on the Tesoro Vaquero for my next upgrade. Today was my first hunt withthe new Vaquero and I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of operating thismachine. With the unit ground balanced, sensitivity set on 10 anddiscrimination at the notch just below nickel I went to an old hunted out parkthat I have picked a few good coins from, started swinging and right off thebat BAM, solid tone, very sharp and I knew I had something (I had beenpracticing in my target garden), at about 5" a live 30-06 round, not whatI was looking for but I'll take it. As I am going through the park I am hittingclad like crazy and digging nearly everything (the depth on the Vaquero isamazing), and then I had a signal that dropped off at the nickel, I starteddigging 5" nothing 7"-8" nothing, finally at about 9" I hitthe 10K white gold ring, at 9" in this park it must have been there awhile. The sun was up strong and I decided to swing back towards my car and BAMagain, this time it was a Sterling Silver ring right on top of the grass (hadto be a recent drop). I LOVE THIS MACHINE!!!
