I searched for the first time for Indian artifacts. Searched along a wash for 1.5 hours. No luck. I'm guessing it will be very hard to find an arrowhead. Also, not sure if I have the patience this hobby will require.
I do know the Hohokam did inhabit the area I was looking in. However, I'm sure most of their dwellings and activities were in the Tucson basin which is where the City of Tucson now is. I was searching about 10 miles West of Tucson(on the other side of the mountains). The Hohokam may have only rarely visited the area.
Attached is a pic of an interesting rock. It is 8" long.
