First nox 800 land digs…

The ground is finally mostly thawed and I went out back to back evenings to some hard hit sites. I wanted to try out the new minelab equinox 800 I got and really put it to the test. I’ve got a lot to learn yet with it but so far I’m very impressed with the results. First trial it got was over the winter I got a silver coin on a ocean shoreline and now it’s also doing good so far on land. In total the best of the past two hunts I found a 1864 fatty Indian head penny, 1843 NS thistle half penny token, 1856 NS mayflower one penny token, a bell, a flat button , a 1907 Canadian one cent and a 1914 silent Canadian dime. The soil at these two sites are horrible on coppers so the conditions aren’t great at all. So far I’m very excited with the tests and now I hope to try it out eventually on some new untouched site this spring. Trouble now is I have to find the sites first! HaHa

Great finds. I hit an unshot 22 rat shot last week mowing our back yard. Bang! Thought my brand new mower was done. Thankfully not so.
Good finds for any new machine anywhere there, thumbs up 👍👍
