Hi Everybody! I went to a nearby park where I hunted with the Patriot last week. A fellow digger I saw told me about finding jewelry here with his Simplex in a spot where kids roll down the grass hill so, I decided to hit that area today. Running Park 2 mode (all tones), 22 sens GB was 40. Hoping to find that yellow metal, I dug every repeatable foil signal from 8 up and a few high tones just to practice recovery with the large coil. Got excited with a solid tone, 28-31 ID and dug the nickel at a good 7". The dime was 6" and quarter 7-8". Got a good hit tone (10-12) expecting another modern pulltab and BAM! The small gold ring was 4" down! Only 1.3 grams, but 10k and my first gold ring ever! Love this machine, it's so quiet sometimes I almost need to check to see it it's working! Definitely will be digging all those solid foil/pulltab signals from now on! HH, Scott

Congratulations Scott! I just got this detector and I’m looking forward to using the Xterra on the beach.
Best of luck!
Thanks brother you are gonna love it! Found a good sized silver ring on my 2nd park hunt.

I can't wait to get one. I've got a good feeling that this is going to be a beast while out civil war relic hunting.
Yes, it sniffs the relics out of the ground! My 1st target was this 3 ringer when I hit the field!

Yep, very senstive and deep! Great 3 ringer! I think the X-Terra Pro is at an 'entry level' price point but it's performance is by no means entry level. It would have cost $400-$500 for a machine that performs as well just a few years ago. IMO
