Nice job! Makes it all the better when your son can share in the excitement. I love father/son teams. My own son (30 years old) was with me yesterday to just do a very short hunt. I think he's hooked . . . we didn't find anything but junk, but he got that glassy look in his eyes as we were searching and said, "I know what I want for Christmas." :laughing7:

BTW, was than an MXT you were hunting with?

Awesome! That's a fantastic day, by any standards. Back when digging was "good" around here, I found a total of 5 breast plates, but it's been so long ago that I would do a BIG happy dance to find another.

I Know that felt good! keep at it. I hunted 16 years before i found my first plate, and found my second plate 3 days later in the same area. Good Luck!!
