First SILVER!!!

Finally got my first silver out on the sidewalk behind my apartment building. I got really exited when the clay clod was ringing and I flipped it over to see a clean ridged edge of a coin.

Lol I really didn't wait to open it up, it was next to the sidewalk out back so when I pulled that out I filled my hole and ran inside to show my GF and take a picture. I knew something was different when the coin wasnt laying in my hole and was stuck in the clod. With the mineralization around here the coins build a layer in between themselves and the dirt and make like a mold release so they are usually just sitting there waiting to be picked out of the hole. I knew that if it was silver I was better to not rub it to get the date. So I took it inside and peeled off the main part of the clod and rubbed it inside lmao.

i havent been poised enough yet to take a pic of my coins b4 i pull em out, im like a freak i see it and am like "oohh, mine!" then think ^#$(&, i shouldve taken a dirty pic of it, or a pic of it still in the hole. Thats cause im still a newb

My first find was a 1922 Peace Dollar (http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/todays-finds/3586-1st-day-detecting.html#post20865) I thought this is awsome! Amazing how far and few they really are.
