First Spanish Silver

Today i found my first Spanish silver. The coin rang up as a high 20s on the Equinox 800. From my research i think its a "cross" 1 Reale.

Very nice and not often found Spanish too. Most call those a half Pistareen by the way

A full Pistareen is 2 reales so you have a half. Usually found mostly in eastern Virginia and occasionally in New England I believe. Worth more to you than anyone else probably

That's a very nice coin. I tend to call all those early "cross" types pistareens, although there is a complete nomenclature on Spanish silvers.
