First time out

Went magnet fishing in a pond at a park with my two sons 17 and 12. Found two fishing hooks and actually spent 3 hours with my boys without them looking at a screen! We will be doing this again.

"A screen" has been a big portion to my finds. Cell phones seem to find their way to the bottom around docks. Those which have metal covered battery's or have a metal accessory to their loop seem to be fairly easy to bring up. Those trac phones that have a metal ring around the glass also can be brought in. Does the pond have a fishing dock or boat dock/ramp? These areas seem to be the best to hunt. Keep it up and let us know about this new family outing luck.
