Flat Button ID Needed

I recovered this Flat Button today(11.26.2019), in the Morriston Community, just outside of Petal, Mississippi... I am hoping that someone here can help me to put a year or year range on this button, and if the bust is of a particular person, well it would be great to know who that person was.

The bust looks to be of King George II.

"George II was King of Great Britain and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and a prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire from 11 June 1727 until his death in 1760.
George was the last British monarch born outside Great Britain: he was born and brought up in northern Germany."

Unfortunately your picture of the buttons back is out of focus and I can't see any back mark.

Thanks for the info... There are no backmarks on it that I can see, even with magnification. Also it is really thin.

Most of the one-piece flat buttons I've found almost always have a makers mark on the back.
Due to the fact that you have a bust honoring King George II, I'm thinking your button is possibly a 'memorial button' commemorating his death.
Based on the back loop, I think your button likely dates from the 1760 - 70 period.

It doesn't look a lot like KG II to me. This is one I found a couple weeks ago. Yours looks more like Lincoln. I just don't know.

I just saw a left facing bust and immediately assumed it might be George II.
You know what they say... assumption is the mother of all screw ups.

Too bad to ID, but you can't rule out a copy of a Roman Coin Bust, I've had a couple similar.
