possibly Venango County, Pennsylvania, &

Louis-Thomas Chabert de Joncaire

though there was a Fort Franklin here in Schuylkill county , I Don't think Joncaire Ventured this direction
And stayed where the French Forts were on his Route. he would have definitely been in enemy lines down here. and of course Being Cowards, They sent the Indians to do their Dirty Work.

Fort Venango, a small British fort built in 1760 near the present-day site of Franklin, Pennsylvania, replaced Fort Machault, a French fort built at the confluence of French Creek and the Allegheny River. The French burned their fort in 1759 after abandoning it.
