Found a few today

Finally got a day off with no rain. Water is still deeper than normal. I managed to find some things. I usually don’t show the pottery I find unless it’s nice. The rim was nice enough to share. Not sure the type but I like the design on it. The flake blade was nice and hard to see. In hand is a scraper and a blade with a little damage on one side. I found plenty of other blades but nothing nice. I also found a couple of broken points I didn’t bother taking pictures of.
I made the long hike to the section that was washing out but the last flood took all the good gravel away and left hard rocks. Probably went downstream but scattered now. If and when the water goes down maybe I can find some good ones.

Pottery is funny. some places it’s common as a flake but I’m pretty excited when I get a piece, very rare around here. The one lighter worked flake looks like nice material.

The edges on that flake is like a saw. I find more worked flakes than anything else I just don’t post them cause it’s hard to see the fine edges in a picture. It’s a nice over shot flake with notching and is still sharp. Probably Early Archaic
