Found a ring with a carving in the stone

Today while detecting I found a ring in a 1907 park. It is thick silver with a stone. The stone has a carving in it can someone identify what is carved on the stone or give me any information on the ring

Outstanding find Mack!

The image is a head of a Trojan soldier; I first checked to see if
there was a USC Trojan connection, but couldn't find any matching
yours.

If you Google "mans silver ring, engraved trojan", you'll find some
comparable rings, but none of the engravings match exactly.

That type of carving is called intaglio. Nice ring. Gary
