Found cannonball in Raleigh…..ID?

This is my first cannonball. It’s 4” on diameter with a 1” diameter plug. It weighs 8 lb 5 oz per bathroom scale. No apparent markings. No visible seams. Not even sure it’s CW. Found laying on a corner lot on top of ground.
