Found Gold Ring, Silver, V-nickle, Wheaties and Indians all at the same place

Good evening everyone. Had an exceptional, cold hunt today. Went back to the new house that we just started to hunt and finally hit silver. I knew it was there because we just found 28 Wheaties on the previous hunt. My hunting partner, Randy started off by finding a V nickle. Darn >:(

We started to pull out Wheaties around the same area we had concentrated on before, behind the house on top of the sloping hill. Randy then hits a pocket spill. 1935 quarter, 1945 quarter, a 1943 war nickle, a few wheaties and a 1918 merc. I had just missed that a few minutes earlier as we were working the same area .I then pulled out an Indian 1907.Then came the good part..... a nice shinny 12K mans gold wedding band. I did the happy dance. My first gold ring and it fits my finger too

Then another Indian 1909, then a Merc then a Rossie. Todays haul 3 Hour hunt: 2 Indians, a Merc, A Rossie, Gold ring and 4 wheat's (1920, 1930, 1944 and a 1918. That's 20 Wheaties for me from this site so far. Randy has nearly the same amount. This place has sure been active. Headed back Tues. and start again. No seateds or barbers for me yet. You guys are in the zone right there. Those are some Beauts that's for sure. Get back there and get that VDB! Congrats on the finds. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the great comments and info. I thought the same thing about the hill as being a good place to sled in the winter and kids playing in the summer. I still have a lot to hunt. We have been concentrating our efforts around the hill. Not gone to the bottom yet. The wedding band took me by complete surprise though. I like to get in around the porch but maybe later. I still can't figure out where the main entrance to the house was. In one of my other photos I thought it might have been at the lower level. But around the side of the house along the street is where we tore up the wheaties. I thought that is where people used to park alot. The garage on the side of the house may have come later in time??

Real nice finds.... That hill obviously saw a lot of activity "back in the day"...

Oh, and before I forget. I REALLY hope that you do a better Happy Dance than I do. My father in law in an old Marine, and he told me that Marine's "Do Not Do Happy Dances". Hope yours has some style to it!

even the 1909 plain IH is a great find, do you got a pic of it cleaned up? The gold ring is awesome, you found a super site!

Thanks Mojo. Went back yesterday and almost got skunked. Only a few wheaties. The ground is so dry. It rained last night and today. Maybe that will help $:-\$
