I need help identifying this round ball I found at an old Revolutionary War Blockhouse and skirmish site. I have never found a musket ball before, and this was found right near an old Eley Bros shotgun shell that dates back to the 1870s according to Catridge Corner. It has some weight to it. Does anyone know the age of this? Hoping it's not just a ball bearing 20200925_232347.jpg 20200925_232327.jpg

You need some calipers to measure it so someone can tell you the caliber, also a weight would help.

As far as age - lead has been around since the last regional supernova in this part of the galaxy and is used currently by some folks in the form of cast balls to hunt or target shoot.

Dimensions would help.
