Found old coal mining coin scrip. Never seen one of these before. I think it pre-dates 1875 as the Aldrich Mining co. Changed its name in 1875.

That's a nice token. I don't know anything about the mine name history and timeline, but it looks like it's aluminum, an that would make it later than 1875.

Yes, it is aluminum but I read that the Aldrich Mining Co. changed the Co. name in 1875 so I assumed it pre-dated that…

Aluminum was too expensive to produce before commercially feasible processes were invented in 1886, then it started being utilized for various products in the 1890s and early 1900s. The style of your token reminds me of early 20th century.
