Found this today I think it could be an axe! It measures about 5 inches x 5 inches pictures are from front view and rear view. Any thoughts ?

One thing I will add, its so refreshing to see you respond so well to the above comments. There arefolks posting here occasionally who do not take the experienced ones expertise words as a form of helping ones to know a rock from a worked piece. I hope you soon find that really cool artifact.keep humble and never stop learning. The folks here are more than ready to assist you.
