That’s a nice group of watches to be given!

The first one has had the manufacturer plate removed but serial number 14747441 is a Waltham “1883 model”, produced c.1906 in a run of 3,500 watches out of a total production for this model of 646,314

The second and fourth watches are the same Waltham model number as above but with production dates: c.1897 for serial number 8325951 (run quantity of 3,900); and c.1898 for serial number 8416269 (run quantity 3,000).

The third watch is an Elgin “model 3” and serial number 1890332 was made c.1886 in a run quantity of 30,000 out of a total production for this model of 273,000

Thank you for the info as always. That is interesting even though they aren't in the best shape with the information given makes me want to be just a tad more careful with them.

I love old pocket/wrist watches.
They'll make great display items.
Not sure if the one is actual coin silver, probably is.đź‘Ť
Great gift I say.

I don't think any are silver but still neat none the less. Some of these I found in working order aren't cheap pieces. I had no idea some of these things aren't cheap at all. Though monetary value matters not to me because I appreciate the history and want them in my collection.

Maybe you are right I looked it up and they are supposed to be made of coin silver. Unless it's a counter fit because I think I see brass through it. Unless it's some sort of weird tarnish or repair on the case

One was indeed silver, yeah some may shun me for the tarnish removal but I'm fine with that. I like them cleaned up.

That’s really cool she gifted you those pocket watches. You might have a new collection to start investing some more into.
I already want to see about getting the glass piece for the silver watch.

Very cool JVA5TH,thank your Aunt profusely.
I have done so, though I am torn lol I know I should tell her they have some value I don't think she knew they do. Especially the silver one. It's not a ton of value but with some minor repairs value can be semi decent on the silver one. I've even seen a few of the plated ones of these particular brands go for decent prices even with damage.
