These two bronze 19th C. medals were framed by W. King Ambler. I've identified the medals (W. hr. Korwin Krasinski, signed Caunois F. and General J.B. Kleber right, signed by Caque F.) but the way they're framed it's as though they were intended to be sold as decorative cameos or something because you can't even see the names on them, never mind the backs.

Are they collectible as is?

Does anybody know how to take the frames apart? They each have two small holes in them on the front and a small screwdriver can go right through the holes.
