Frozen buffalo

Got out this morning in 29 degrees with my buddy PARK PIRATE drop around the park looking for thawed ground finally found a spot and landed this 1920 frozen buffalo first find of this year and first vintage find with my new garret AT PRO I bought in December

The snow is melting from around the tree bases so I wonder if that area will be thawed first?

We still have a foot of standing snow plus the piles, temps are well below average, so we wait, and wait.....and wait!
