Hi everyone,
I’m writing a new article for my editor at Focus Speed. I’ll be interviewing a Garrett specialist about the Garrett Ace Apex. Any questions about the Apex you’d like to get answered? Issues you have with the Apex? Leave them in the comments below or find me on Facebook as Nicole Bauer and send a DM. I appreciate everyone for their help. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy hunting!

Hi OMM. I watch your videos. I always hunt in the MF mode, all metal with custom notch settings.

I’d like to know if they’re ever going to update the firmware again. They have all the right basic tools in the toolbox, but they need to improve performance using what they already have. It would make the Apex a top performer in its price/class. Come on, Garrett.

OMM, Read my comment in your Old Ford Hub video. I’d love to know how the interview goes.

Thanks.

In order to update your machine, you'll need to download the Garrett update from their website to a computer with Windows or an Apple computer. I have a Chromebook and it wouldn't work, so I had one of my sons do it with their gaming computer. Once you download the file, you'll use the charging cord from your Apex, plugged into the charging port on the machine, and then attach the USB end to your computer. There is a step-by-step guide on Garrett's website which will make it much easier to understand.

I'm a relic hunter and I really do not coin shoot. So I run my Apex in Zero Disc, sensitivity is dependent upon the site I'm at and the amount of trash, I also run in multi-frequency as well. If I'm at a park though, which isn't often, I'll run custom and notch out everything up to 20 and run at 10Khz or MF. I'd also like to know what others use. Good point, Paul :)

Greenie!!!! Hi there. I hope you've been getting out hunting. I watch your channel too. I watch a lot on TV at night so I don't always comment. Good question about the firmware update. Do you have a lot of chatter and false signals with your Apex? I upgraded from an Ace 400 to the Apex this year. It's been a fun time learning the Apex. It's definitely a great machine for the pricepoint.

Thanks so much, Greenie!! See in the Treasure Fam :)
