From a photo either Quartz or calcite. Try lemon juice or vinegar, (a mild acid test) or dilute hydrochloric acid (strong acid)if you have some to see if it effervesces or bubbles, if so it’s calcite.

I have nitric muriatic for testing gold. Would that work? One more picture. Don’t mind the dirty nails. Been on a treasure hunting marathon this week

I checked the density 2.55 probably quartz
