That doesn't scream fossil tooth to me. It looks like a mix of sedimentary and Quartz. For me, I would say coincidence. It has a tooth-like shape kind of. But not like any fossil I've seen.

Is there a cave or possibly large rock outcroppings/cliffs nearby? I ask because they have the appearance of precipitated mineral flow growths often found in caves and/or on or at the bottom of rock outcroppings/cliffs.
