I haven't been able to find an exact match, but here's what I know.
It's a Maverick token dating anywhere from the 1800s-early 1900s
The first part is Chas Pick
I believe that says "DEALERS IN"
And then there is an image below possibly indicating what they deal in.
But I can't make that out either...
That's what we needed...
Good research Red Coat. Thank youSeems that the business (the bar & restaurant ware supplier and token supplier, not the using customer) was founded by Albert Pick in Chicago in 1857 but it was burned out by the Great Fire of 1871. Pick rebuilt and from then on it was largely run by his younger brother Charles (Chas). Charles later renamed the business for himself as “Chas Pick & Co” and it then reverted to its original name when Charles’ son took over in the 1890s (since he was also an “Albert”).
Dates for the company name as “Chas Pick and Co” appear to be 1880-1892
