Yep, I'm still in the water, just doing it in freshwater lakes here in the midwest now. Two of the rings are 10k, the rest is all 14k.

All the gold I could muster this last outing, a 22K heart pendant. But did manage a couple of pieces of silver as well.

You cleaned up?

Most of the old gold rings that I find are small and they weigh only around 4 grams or less but I find more of them and they add up quickly. Usually class rings, signet rings, and things of that nature, nearly all of them being pinky rings as was the style back then (thanks OBN for that explanation.) Also, most of them come from what the typical detectorist would consider to be trashier environments, lots of iron and other contaminants in the bottom, nothing nearly as clean as those east coast beaches I use to hunt, put your machine in all metal in these environments and you'll instantly get that machine gun response. So there is "a lot" of masking and digging involved.
