I don't have one but as long as you have enough water flow, it'll work.
You may need to take some wood with you to build a wing dam to increase the water flow and then feed it slow. Beach gold don't like fast water to settle out, it just needs to be fast enough :icon_scratch:

Have a look at the dream mat mini. It's pretty much designed for sands.

considering surface area is important when running sand and super fine gold.

So, anything with the word "mini" in the name might not be the best choice.

The gold Hog should do really well

You'd be surprised. It was designed for running sands and does it extremely well too

That's part of my thinking, but also I have confidence the GH will work inland. I'm a seasoned citizen so I won't be moving a lot of material, but just want to make sure what I do run won't be in vain if it's not capturing. Thanks for reinforcing my thoughts you guys.

I haven't run any beach sand with my GH mats, but the majority of my gold is -100. The GH mats catch it well.

I know when you use the low flow black sand setting on the Gold Hog Multi Sluice, it's only running at about 500 gph. So it shouldn't be too hard to get the right water velocity for beach sand.
