Last night my local park spit out a beautiful gold signet ring! I could use some help identifying the initials. It looks like “LRY” to me? It also has no karat mark and I can’t identify the markers mark? Does this indicate it’s pre 1906? Any info would be awesome!

Very nice variety of finds. I'd take it to a jeweler or coin shop to have it tested. I found a "gold" signet ring last month that was stamped 18k. After testing at the local coin shop, turns out the stamp was fake and the ring was made of heavy Brass. Good luck, I hope yours is gold.

What a check off the list for a great type of hunt.

Congrats on the great looking gold ring, the newer silver one would make for a hearty grin as well.
The style of ring is a real classic pre 1900's with the oval face plate, script, shoulder style.
I see those dice are still being sold by the Quincy Mine Hoist Association

Lucky you. That rectangle mark I'm guessing is the gold purity mark and very possibly some European mark. Sadly Red Coat went on vacation for two weeks, so we'll need to get off the couch and wing it in hopes of identifying what that mark might be?. I'll put a bit of time in searching on the internet, which is really somewhat limited on the information of the various hugh number of hallmarks that have been stamped on items made from precious metals throughout time. So many more can only be found in the pages of books and information on some marks may not be found anywhere. First I would take it to a pawn shop and they'll test the purity for free if you act like your possibly thinking of selling or pawning it. It could be any grade from 9k to 15k and in between based on the color imo. It doesn't appear to be up in the higher grade alloy of gold to me, but you won't be certain of that until it's tested. As for me Gold is Gold and I'm never really all that concerned about all the other details of it other than its purity and value by weight with, some exceptions which might be its maker is a highly coveted name, which might be worth more than its weight in gold.
