Last night my local park spit out a beautiful gold signet ring! I could use some help identifying the initials. It looks like “LRY” to me? It also has no karat mark and I can’t identify the markers mark? Does this indicate it’s pre 1906? Any info would be awesome!

Nice old signet ring! It could be 100 years old or more. I'd say 99.999% chance its solid. Just need to test it for which karat.
Initials are so hard to read. Usually though the last name is the middle initial and first and middle are on the left and right.
I’m pretty sure it’s solid. It’s so worn if it was plated the based metal would be showing.

Also very cool: the shotgun headstamp fashioned into a button! Never seen that before.
I believe it’s a button made to look like a head stamp. It says “Kemington” instead of “Remington”.

That's a very nice ring! I'm thinking the initials are "L, R, J", ...but just a guess. Great bunch of finds. The cameo is lovely.
Congrats!
Thanks! I think the cameo is pretty cool too. Its setting is actually sterling, it just has a crust on it. I’ve dug silver coins with the same black crust a few times. Unfortunately the glass cameo is broken :(

Is the cameo red coral? It is hard to tell from the photo's-but if it is a Victorian era red coral cameo then it is may be an equal or even better find than the ring. Great Stuff!
I’m pretty sure it’s glass. It’s broken in half either way :/

I was given and lost a ring like that is was my Grand fathers. Same script and everything it said BKB on it. I would say its probably from around early 1900. Really a beautiful color.
