Not sure if I had a good day or bad day yesterday. Hunted some old tall trees away from the road near downtown. One spot behind one of the trees gave up 6 gtrs, 4 nickels, 5 dimes, and 30-40 pennies. No silver, although I was hoping because on a previous visit I had found a silver qtr in the area. Many of the pennies are clumped together almost as if they were in rolls at some point--all Memorials; the acid from tree debris has started to corrode the coins 20210926_114438.jpg 20210926_114443.jpg 20210926_114449.jpg 20210926_114455.jpg 20210926_114506.jpg 20210926_114512.jpg . This spot is a notorious sleeping area for homeless so maybe the coins were dropped and accumulated through the years? Oh well, I guess it's better than going home with nothing. The pennies will clean up well and the coppers are worth 1.6 cents. Thx for reading and have fun out there.

Good number of finds there! A lot are not in the best of shape, but some are. Congratulations! Much better outing than no finds!
