Good Deal?

A local coin dealer here sells $1 face value worth of silver for $.45 over melt value (except morgans/peace at $17). Do you think this is a good deal and worth buying any?

Yeah I got the melt price on the coins already. I was just wondering if anyone else here buys from a dealer and if it's comparable to prices you would expect to pay. $1 of franklin halves for example would cost me $13.82. 4 quarters, 10 dimes, ect. all same price.

Hi, I work at a coin store, and we charge right around that..... Today (11/28) we bought them at 10X face, and bought circ Morgans 10-15 each depending on the eye appeal, or if they were just complete culls. 17 doesn't sound unreasonable for Silver dollars, and spot +.45 cents is a fine deal.
You might be able to find them a TAD bit cheaper if you shop around, but it probably isn't even worth it.
