Metal Detecting
Lots of issues with the very first AT Pros and many had to go back for repairs. That's maybe four or so years ago. Have t heard much about the others. f75 is a good machine but chattery and complicated.

heard early ATs had probs -T2s -F75s never

The At is a 2013 model

If you are getting the used unit from a reputable dealer it will work properly for sure. If from a private party, all bets are off, no matter what brand or model.

Buy the F-75. Yes, it can be unstable and the supposed EMI interference is now gone from early issues. This past November, I bought my first Fisher. A F-70. There are constant noises compared to an AT-Pro, yet metal is ALWAYS under the coil.
In my experience, the F-70 goes deeper than an E-Trac any day once learned.
Don't get me wrong, I believe the E-Trac to be the best all round detector produced.
That said, I'm ordering a F-75 in April.
GL,HH. Peace

Yes op if you can get a good deal consider F70 too. They are all good. You are like me and lean toward fisher but atpro is awesome.
