Found this in a farmers field in the south west of England, unusual markings. Any ideas on what it might be?
Thanks, Parzival

Good luck with this one! Found in our yard in upper Michigan, not far from Lake Michigan. Red/pink stripes on dull white. IMG_5825.jpg IMG_5847.jpg

Rock identification please?

Hi! my name is Lila! I bought a large bag of rocks and stones for my garden and I found 3 stones I was hoping I could get some help identifying!

Stone 1 is a small square stone that is a tan-ish yellow with white mixed in... I wonder if it is a form of calcite ??

Stone 2 is another small square stone that is tan, grey and dark brown, with some interesting lines and patterns... could this be Picture Jasper??

Stone 3 is a larger stone that fits in my palm, this one is a tan and light brown with circles of red in it, I tried to get the best picture of the red I could get but it is so faint. however the way the red bands in reminds me of agate.

Please does anyone have any idea of what these stones are??? Thankyou so much in advance, xo

@Gentryart I have something that looks so similar to that! I found this small piece at Galveston Beach, in a Texas! My dad thought it looked like coral, although I’m not sure if he is correct. Mine feels very porous, it’s very lightweight, while yours looks heavy like a rock.
- I tried to attach a picture to show, but I cannot get it to upload.

Found this after some trees were cleared at bear Creek Park Colorado springs CO. It's heavy about an inch and a quarter my magnets won't stick to it.
