They had put the wrong washer on the motor to tighten the prop. it came off in 7 to 8 feet of water. had to use one of my Hookah's to find it. I used a Equinox 800 and water proof head phones. It was in 7 to 8 feet of water. The bottom was all muck. I was there swimming for maybe a hour. I also ordered a FANTASTIC new hookah system . it was $849 it was normally 999 but till the first of june it is on sale. it weighs 10 pounds allows you to dive up to 10 feet and floats behind following you. If you want more info PM ME

Good job on finding that. The Hookah sounds awesome Ive seen so many people that use those and have literally piles of jewelry from water hunting ....Ill vote Honorable mention for the fact that part of the Hobby is to help people recover lost items because it feel great to do it and it great for all of us in the Hobby Great post and hope to see lots of good finds with your new Hookah......Tommy

Sounds like the cotter pin wasn't in.. washer would have had nothing to do with it.

The NUT DID not come OFF There was supposed to be a flat washer between the prop and the tighting nut

You've got guts to jump in murky water to look for a prop. Kudos to you. I'd have told them to buy a new one! Gary

Then the prop must have separated off drive sleeve.

*just enlarged your photo... and this IS what happened**

That is one huge hole in the prop. Wonder it didn't jiggle off going down the road.
