Great few hunts, 2 cent!!!

Had a blast hunting with some friends on Saterday!!! It was so much fun!!!! Yesterday I found the 2 center piece. I thought it was a nickel until getting pictures today. I haven't cleaned it and could use a little help. New to these strange coins:) Happy Hunting this summer, darn fire is right next to me, High Park fire in Colorado) but it's heading northish so I don't have to worry.

I'll give it a go, I appreciate the help. I have a bunch of different ones that it would be nice to id. This one almost seems a different type of metal, but it could just be me.
Oh they indeed made coins of different metals.
ID the coin and the website will give you more info

diggingthe1, You got a nice coin. Wish I'd never heard the words steel wool and shine though. Generally, you never use an abrasive, even on coins dug up. And having a shine on such a coin actually isn't something you want. Keeping the natural patina , most of the time looks nicer.

But you gotta do what makes You happy. Good luck finding another deuce to go with that one.
