I’ve retrieved these four soldier figures from the back area of my property. All on different days. Poor kid kept losing his troops.
They’re a bit heavy, so I’m assuming they are lead.

Cool finds! We made lead soldiers when we were kids (probably explains why I'm always walking in circles). It was stopped after a neighbor kid tripped on the electric cord for the molten lead pot heater and ended up with molten lead spilled on his foot.

That,s how I learned to wear boots when casting bullets or jigs!:laughing7:

Very good finds...I love old toys like that. Back then they built toys to last, I have only found one lead toy and its a of a business woman figurine from the 1940s. Soldiers are a lot cooler !

I had a lot of lead Soldiers when i was a child. I bet the Garden center had a sand boxthere and if someone ran a detector of it they would find some more lead soldiers. I want to congratulate you on your finds and thank you for bringing back fond memories of my child hood
