It was a privately owned picnic area. I found the large cent right by a pond. my husband and I were both detecting and he found a bunch of clad...then he found 2 Wheaties. I found some clad then decided to head over to the pond and found my large cent and merc. We don't know the history of the place. Our neighbors own the land.

The large cent was maybe only an inch. The dime was like 3 inches under
