The Gunther Barbed type is named for Gunther Island / Indian Island located on Humboldt Bay Northwestern California. Age and Cultural Affiliation Gunther Barbed projectile points place into the late prehistoric and historic periods. they may appear in the archaeological record around A.D.800 And were still being used up to the time of the California Gold Rush and perhaps to the turn of the century. Information from Noel D Justice. One of my favorite types found in California / Nevada / Oregon and Washington a small sample from Apple Hill / Camino N. California.

The attention and delicacy paid to those would have been great to see before completion. Nice examples. Gotta be diligent with the sifter.

Those are really great looking.
Query: The first two are from red jasper?

The one sitting on the Merc. wonder how it would look held up to the light?

Wow they really are beautiful and deadly. I imagine with that material they were/are razor sharp. Nice!
