Hi all, had a little free time after work to get in a quick search back at the spot I dig my Morgan dollar a few weeks ago.
I was just getting ready to call it quits since the sun disappeared and it got dark when I heard a squeak ringing up 20 on my nox. Said it was 6" so I was hopeful it was an old coin.
After digging a bit and finding other junk metal in the hole I pulled out my cell and turned on the light. It was then I saw a flash of silver and when I picked it up I knew right away I just dug my first Half Dime!
Unfortunately the reason I saw the flash of silver was because I scratched it fumbling around in the hole

I'm not familiar with the half-dime series but do know they are hard to find. Congrats on the find.
Any MM on it (out there in Ca)?
